  • Develop your program specifications - including objectives and measurable outcomes;
  • Document a project plan - covering logistics and timeline;
  • Make your business case to obtain senior management buy-in;

Executive Briefing on Mentoring

Why do leading organisations implement mentoring programs? What outcomes are realistic to expect and how is effective mentoring introduced?

While mentoring is a straight-forward concept and provides strategic advantages for organisations, implementing a mentoring program that works, requires careful planning and preparation. A poor attempt at mentoring may be worse than no mentoring at all.

Ann Rolfe, author of Mentoring in Australia – a Practical Approach, The Mentoring Workbook and Develop Your Mentoring Skills, will share with you the benefits and challenges of implementing mentoring programs. You will be able to make informed decisions about how best to proceed with your own mentoring program.

The Executive Briefing will answer your questions and provide information including:

  • How Does Mentoring Work?
  • What do mentors do?
  • Issues to consider before introducing mentoring
